Topic: Seneca's Letters to Lucilius: A Sampler

There are 124 letters from Seneca to his friend Lucilius. We’ll start with a first group, comprising one on saving time: https://howtobeastoic.wordpress.com/2016/05/19/ seneca-to-lucilius-on-saving-time/, three on true and false friendship: https://howtobeastoic.wordpress.com/2016/05/21/ seneca-to-lucilius-on-true-and-false-friendship/, and four on the terrors of death: https://howtobeastoic.wordpress.com/2016/05/26/seneca-to-lucilius-on-the.... That ought to keep us busy for an evening!

The School is inspired by the ancient Greco-Roman schools of philosophy. We will examine the theory and practice of Stoicism as a modern applied philosophy that aids us in navigating a world in some ways just as confusing and uncertain as that of ancient Athens and Rome.
