Fall Bike Ride: Governor’s Island

Meet at Clinton Cove, Hudson River Park & W 55th Street.
Come ride with us to the Governors Island. We’ll meet at the Clinton Cove (Hudson River Park & W 55th Street) and cycle South along the Hudson River bikeway to take the (free) ferry to the Governors Island where we will spend a couple of hours cycling & visiting historic places. The cycling distance is approximately 15 miles on a flat terrain.
Bring water, a bicycle lock, and money for the garden entrance fee ($5). You can either bring your own lunch or purchase one at the garden cafe.
You must wear a bicycle helmet to participate in this ride.
You don’t need to sign up, just show up at the appointed hour. Alternatively, you can meet the group at the ferry (it’s just East of the Staten Island Ferry building). Depending on how fast we can cycle, we will take either the 10:20 or 10:45 AM (more likely) ferry. Rain cancels.
