Built in 1765 for Roger Morris\, a British military officer\, the federal-style served as a headquarters for both sides during the course of the American Revolution. The mansion/museum sits atop Mount Morris in Roger Morris Park in Washington Heights (parallel to West 161st Street). \nWe’ll lunch at the Blue Corn Mexican Restaurant\, a short walk from the park\, on Amsterdam Avenue just south of 158th Street. \nDetails: We’ll meet at Ethical at 10:30 and take the #1 train at Broadway & W. 65th uptown to 157th St. The Mansion/Museum is at 65 Jumel Terrace\, atop Mount Morris\, in Roger Morris Park in Washington Heights.
