DESCRIPTION:Join us for Bringing Back Branscombe to the Upper West Side\, a concert of music composed by long-time resident Gena Branscombe. More than 100 years ago she was a main-stay of New York City’s classical music scene with her songs performed by famous opera and concert singers\, orchestral pieces played at the MacDowell Colony\, her dramatic oratorio winning national prizes and for 25 years her beloved Branscombe Choral performed at Town Hall and the Broadway Tabernacle Church.
