A fourth-generation beekeeper\, he manages hives across rooftops and green spaces throughout the city. He is a former president of the New York City Beekeepers Association and played a key role in legalizing beekeeping in NYC. A Fulbright Program scholar and polyglot\, he is also the author of Honey and Venom and a frequent lecturer on sustainable beekeeping.
