We hope to see you there! \nRAIN OR SHINE! In case of rain\, performances\, vendors\, and partners will be moved into our meeting house! \nPerformance Schedule\n12:30-12:50: Afro-Brazilian drums with Mambembé \n1:00-2:30: ‘Sean The Cellist’ Grissom (at W 64th and Broadway) \n1:30-2:00: Society Artist-in-Residence Jody Sperling & Time Lapse Dance \n2:30-3:00: The Fortune Society’s Fortune Singers \n3:00-3:30 Josh Elson’s “Pop Up” Choir \n4:00-4:30: Jazz with Music on The Inside \nSchedule and performers subject to change. \n‘Green Halloween’ Sustainable Costume Making with Young Ethical Explorers\n \nIt’s an unfortunate fact that Halloween is terrible for the environment: most decorations and costumes are used only once before being thrown away\, and they’re often made of plastics and harmful chemicals that can persist in the environment for centuries. So\, let’s do our part to green Halloween! \nJoin us for our annual Young Ethical Explorers DIY sustainable costume workshop\, where kids of all ages are invited to turn recycled materials of all kinds–cardboard\, fabric\, plastic\, old clothes\, and more–into their own unique costume creations. The Society will provide a trove of donated materials and attendees are also invited to bring your own! \nThis year’s costume-making will be held during our 2nd Annual Ethical Street Fair\, outside on W 64th St. in front of our meeting house. \n>>> RSVP on Eventbrite\nJody Sperling and Time Lapse Dance (Credit: Richard Velasco) \n  \nMambembé \n  \nMusic on The Inside \n  \nSean The Cellist \n  \nThe Fortune Singers \nSnapshots from 2025
