Special guest: LINDA BLACKMON LOWERY, author of “Turning 15 On the Road to Freedom” and the youngest person to take part in the Selma Voting Rights March of 1965.

The Gandhi-King Season for Nonviolence is an international, intergenerational, annual celebration of the philosophies and lives of historical figures Mahatma Mohandas Gandhi and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., designed to honor their vision for an empowered, nonviolent world. It is a 64-day period spanning from January 30 (the day Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated in 1948) through April 4 (the day Dr. King was assassinated in 1968).
