DESCRIPTION:We’re in this together to fight voter suppression in our southern states! \nJoin us for another Reclaim Our Vote postcard writing event sponsored by the Social Service Board of Ethical NYC. This session will focus on postcards being sent to Florida\, in particular to encourage them to vote to pass an amendment to guarantee access to abortion. \nDrinks and snacks provided! \nWhether you want to just pick up a packet of Reclaim Our Vote postcards with the addresses\, script and instruction sheet or join others to write postcards together\, your voice and effort is needed to help fight voter suppression. \nIf you cannot make this event but wish to participate in writing postcards\, email rov.nysec@gmail.com to learn how to get involved.

DESCRIPTION:Fighting voter suppression is both more important and more challenging than ever\, and directly engaging voters is crucial to protecting and expanding our democracy. \nBring a friend and join the Society’s Social Service Board for our next Reclaim Our Vote postcard writing gathering! So far\, our team has prepared postcards to help thousands of voters learn about\, and then beat\, voter suppression in their states. \nNext up: Georgia and Texas. \nPostcards created at this gathering will be mailed to lists of targeted voters in October\, ensuring they arrive before election day. \nCan’t Make This Gathering? You Can Still Help!\nSimply email Social Service Board chair Janet Rose at rov.nysec@gmail.com to place an order for postcard supplies in multiples of 20. Supply packets can be picked up at the Society Monday-Thursday\, 10am-4pm. \nSupply packets include your requested quantity of postcards\, labels\, addresses\, and instructions. The cost is .60 per postcard with stamps\, or .10 per postcard without stamps.
