Since 2017 our team has prepared postcards to help tens of thousands of voters learn about how and where to vote–and how to beat any suppression in their states. \nNext up: Virginia’s state primaries for Governor\, Lieutenant Governor\, Attorney General\, House of Delegates\, and State Senate. Virginia’s off-year elections are often considered a bellwether for upcoming federal elections! \nIn partnership with Reclaim Our Vote creator Center for Common Ground\, postcards created at this gathering will be mailed to targeted lists of Black voters in select Virginia districts in April and May\, ensuring they arrive before primary early voting begins. \nCan’t Make This Gathering? You Can Still Help!\nSimply email Social Service Board chair Janet Rose at rov.nysec@gmail.com to place an order for postcard supplies in multiples of 20. Supply packets can be picked up at the Society during this event\, or Monday-Thursday\, 10am-4pm. \nPackets include your requested quantity of postcards\, labels\, addresses\, and instructions.
