Climate Change Circles

November 24 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every month that begins at 1:30 pm on day Fourth of the month, repeating indefinitely

We recognize the urgency of climate change, the impact it has on all of us and the toll it’s taking on our communities, families, neighbors and friends. We act but can find it overwhelming and isolating, and sometimes we are unsure how to connect with others across the areas that separate us. Restorative Justice offers us a framework of interconnection and interdependence; it can provide the tools for how we can be in right relationship with each other and to share our grief and hope as we move forward. Please join us for a restorative conversation on climate change as we respond to the enormity of the climate crisis together.

Developed and facilitated by Lili Arkin, a longtime volunteer with the Restorative Justice Initiative (RJI). Presented by the Ethical NYC Environmental Stewardship Committee.
