Ethics and the Theater: Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar

November 8, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join Ethical NYC every second Friday and Saturday of the month as members and theater professionals read selected plays before a live audience, followed by a discussion of the ethical issues raised by the play.

This month’s play is the 2013 Pulitzer Prize-winning Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar:

A Pakistani-American lawyer and his white artist wife invite the lawyer’s black female colleague and her Jewish art curator boyfriend to dinner. What could possibly go wrong? Just about everything you can imagine, and more, in ways both mordantly funny and chillingly destructive.

$5 for members; $10 public
Come 30 minutes early for a reception with snacks and refreshments!

NEW! Can’t make this performance? Join us the following day, Saturday, November 9, for a repeat performance from 4:30-6:30pm.
