But some of these methods have come at a profound cost—fracturing communities\, degrading environments\, and concentrating wealth at the expense of shared flourishing. Drawing on historical and contemporary research\, this talk explores a different tradition: ethical economic thinking that centers community\, care\, and democratic participation.
