They travel simply\, home to home\, supporting and connecting inspiring and aspiring local changemakers\, honouring the Indigenous and local wisdom of diverse cultures\, and of the Earth herself. In each country they also spotlight\, as ‘Homes for Humanity’\, inspiring local initiatives and communities that create spaces of ‘homecoming’\, belonging\, renewal and mutual care – for Self\, for community and for the Earth\, Our One Home. \nUNToday described the One Home Journey as ‘a planetary journey to the rescue of the 2030 Agenda’ in Jan 2024\, and in Jan 2026\, lauded it as “a journey of consciousness and a living showcase of transformative practices.” The couple received the Gusi International Peace Prize (considered as Asia’s Nobel Prize) for their ‘groundbreaking contribution to intercultural and planetary peace’\, in November 2025\, in Manila. \nOn March 1st\, as transformative educators-artists\, storytellers-bridgebuilders and social innovators-peacebuilders\, they will bring to life vividly their experiences across 22 countries in all world regions of this unfolding co-authored story of humanity’s journey of homecoming\, through a multi-cultural\, multi-media performative presentation combining poetry\, theatre-testimony\, film and music. This will be a sharing of our own fears and concerns as well as our resilience and empowerment as we seek to cope. This will not be a political debate. Instead\, we will share our thoughts and observations about the impacts upon us and upon society as well as our own survival strategies. In-person only. \nAbout Dr. Pierre Arty\nPierre Arty\, M.D. is a member of the Ethical Culture Social Service Board and currently serves as the Chief Psychiatric Officer for Housing Works\, where he provides psychiatric supervision\, direct psychopharmacological treatment for adults and those with substance use disorder\, and oversees the Wellness program. \nDr. Arty was born in Cap-Hatien\, Haiti and raised in East Flatbush\, Brooklyn. He received his M.D. from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn and his B.A. from Columbia College of Columbia University. He is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine. He is also a Board member of World Compassion Fellowship\, an international humanitarian and development organization whose mission is to provide holistic development and care for the individual\, the family\, and the community. \nDr. Arty is a member of the Social Service Board of NYSEC and the author of the book Life and Death and the Things in Between\, published in 2017 and available on Amazon. \nAbout Dr. Richard Koral\nDr. Richard Koral is Leader at the New York Society for Ethical Culture and the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island. He attended The Humanist Institute and holds a Doctor of Ministry in Interfaith Pastoral Counseling as well as a J.D. degree.
