Sunday: Ethics and the Theater Presents “Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992″

Join us for our monthly staged reading and discussion, now online! This month’s play is Anna Deavere Smith’s Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992:

In TWILIGHT: LOS ANGELES, 1992, Anna Deavere Smith exposes the social, economic and political issues underlying the Los Angeles riots following the Rodney King verdict through the words of people directly and indirectly involved in them, from L.A.P.D. chief Daryl Gates to a juror on the King trial to residents of South Central.

This month’s play stars Mikayla BartholomewShavanna CalderChloe Simone Crawford, and Asia Howard, and is directed by Logan Pitts. Following the play reading, Betsy Ungar will lead an audience discussion of the ethical issues of the play.
