Support the Society on #GivingTuesday

By November 30, 2021No Comments

Today is Giving Tuesday, the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving, when we are invited to express our gratitude for the gifts we’ve received and pass on some of our good fortune to others. When you consider the good that you can do this Giving Tuesday, we hope you will share some of your donations with the New York Society for Ethical Culture.

For nearly 150 years the Society has been a center for social service, environmental justice, and Humanist thought. With regular seminars and forums, weekly Sunday gatherings, youth and family programs, and social action projects, the Society is a community that serves the needs of our members, our neighbors, and New York City at large.

With our shelter for homeless women, our Supportive Televisiting Servicethat connects children with their incarcerated parents, the My Own Bookprogram that provides third graders with their own physical books, and our Food Insecurity Initiative that has collected and distributed tons of supplies to pantries and other programs during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Society remains in touch with our roots as a progressive, activist neighbor in New York.

Your donation will help the New York Society for Ethical Culture remain a home for those Humanist values and progressive ideals. Please visit ethical.nyc/givingtuesday today and consider giving.

The New York Society for Ethical Culture is a 501(c)(3) and donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
