DESCRIPTION:Notice: Due to projected rainy weather\, this event has been cancelled. We’re planning to reschedule for the spring of 2024. Keep an eye on our website and email list for announcements! \n********** \nJoin us for a garden party with eco-dance performance & craft projects to honor our good neighbors at Harborview Terrace. Arts and planting projects will be available and lunch will be provided! (This was originally scheduled for Saturday\, September 23.) \nPerformance by Artist in Residence Jody Sperling and Time Lapse Dance – 2:00-3:00pm \nIn partnership with the New York Society for Ethical Culture and the Social Services Board\, Jody Sperling and her Time Lapse Dance ensemble take root on the campus of NYCHA’s Harborview Terrace with a captivating site-specific performance that is FREE and open to the public. The program is part of an afternoon Garden Party. \nEnjoy Plastic Harvest\, a romp about plastic pollution that provokes contemplation about the beauty of that—and who—our society throws away. Then stay for Arbor\, the company’s new work exploring human kinship with trees. \nAll ages welcome! \nLocation: Harborview Terrace Garden\nAddress: 530 West 55th Street\n\nCross Streets: 10th and 11th Avenues \n  \n\n\nNewcomers are always welcome!
