Drawdown Solutions: Getting into Action Workshop

You are invited to a four-session climate change workshop on Thursday evenings this summer: June 6, 13, and 20; and July 11!

At this pivotal time, Drawdown is shifting the larger global conversation from “gloom and doom” and “game over” to possibility and “GAME ON” with a grounded sense of opportunity and hope for a climate-safe future.

Based on The New York Times best seller, DRAWDOWN: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Devised to Reverse Global Warming, edited by Paul Hawken, the workshop introduces, explores and ranks by effectiveness the one hundred solutions analyzed in the book and Project Drawdown’s on-going global research. Research that proposes global warming can be reversed by the worldwide scaling up of the solutions outlined. In the workshop, trends and debates in environmental organizing, ways to become engaged in the solutions and the reigning wisdom of environmental leaders will be offered from the perspective of the Project Drawdowns thorough and groundbreaking calculus. All are welcome and will benefit whether a seasoned activist or just beginning environmental engagement. $50 for all four weeks together.

DrawdownNYC was launched in autumn 2018 as a vehicle to share the work of Project Drawdown the internationally recognized research and communication organization that serves as a highly trusted source of solutions for reversing global warming. DrawdownNYC is a diverse group of environmental leaders and engaged citizens whose goal is to scale up and put into action the Drawdown solutions at a local, regional and global level at this critical time.
