Ethics and the Theater Presents: HEISENBERG by Simon Stephens

October 1, 2023 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Our long-running staged reading and talkback series continues on September 29 and October 1 with two performances of Simon Stephens’s Heisenberg:

In a crowded London train station, Georgie spots Alex, a man much older than her, and plants a kiss on his neck. This encounter thrusts these strangers, who are so utterly dissimilar, into a life-affirming mating dance. Heisenberg brings to blazingly theatrical life the alternatives that could shape our lives at every moment.

After the performance, we’ll host a lively discussion of the ethical issues raised by the play.

Performed by Laurie Schroeder Callen and Charles E. Gerber Directed by Tom Herman
