September 29, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Bring your lunch and join Leader Dr. Nori Rost and members for an engaging round-table discussion on the issues of the day and recommended readings.

In a few days, our Jewish friends will celebrate Yom Kippur. I thought this was a fitting time to talk about forgiveness. Both the willingness to ask forgiveness when we offend someone and the willingness to forgive others who have offended us. Is it healthy? What are the benefits? Why can it be so hard for people (even Ethical people!) to acknowledge when they’ve done harm and seek forgiveness. Why can it be so hard for people (even Ethical people!) to forgive someone—whether or not they have apologized?
