Leader’s Roundtable: The Cost of Voting (Hybrid)

November 3, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Bring your lunch and join Leader Dr. Nori Rost and members for an engaging round-table discussion on the issues of the day and recommended readings.

Thanks to Marion Burns for this interesting article that argues most people—on both sides of the fence—don’t vote in their own best interests, financially. What priority should our own financial well-being have in our voting? Have you ever voted for a candidate or initiative because it would benefit you, personally?

This week’s readings:

Why Aren’t You Voting in Your Financial Self Interest? by Thomas B. Edsall – The New York Times
