Christine Quinn is the President and CEO of Women in Need (WIN), a non-profit organization that provides shelter, social services, and supportive housing for homeless families in New York City. Quinn has been a strong advocate for children and families experiencing homelessness and has said that child homelessness is an overlooked issue. She has spoken out about the cycle of homelessness, and the stories of women and mothers she has met at WIN’s shelters. Quinn was formerly a former speaker of the New York City Council, and a commentator on CNN and MSNBC.
