Teen Journalism ~ Intergenerational Activist Dialogues:

On MLK Day, High-school students are invited to interview life-long activists about their lives, deeds and hopes. Intergenerational dialogue will lay the ground for youth to write about an ethical activist and be ignite their own social justice aspirations.  They will be sharing the gems of this experience with an audience on the stage of Adler Hall at 1pm.

Tween Social Justice Litanies

On MLK Day, Middle schoolers will use Dr. King’s inspirations to write their own speeches and litanies of social justice. They will have a chance to amplify their work, if they choose to, in a public reading at 1pm in Adler Hall.

These free workshops begin at 10:30-12:30, followed by a reading at 1pm and an invitation to spend the MLK afternoon at ETHICAL NYC with wonderful performances and deeds (and food!) throughout the afternoon.
