At our April 10, 2022 Sunday Platform we were joined by Sam Rivera, Executive Director of OnPoint NYC, to discuss the operation of OnPoint NYC’s two overdose prevention sites in New York, the first in this nation’s history. He discussed the sites’ success using our most recent data, and highlighted their impact on the surrounding communities, the organization’s innovative procedures as it pertains to overdose intervention, as well as the need for other jurisdictions to open similar sites.
