Sunday Platform with Christiana Zenner: ‘Fresh Waters and Formative Ethics: Reflections from an Accidental Theologian’
June 8 @ 11:00 am - 12:15 pm

This Week’s Platform will be In-Person Only
This conversational presentation invites community members into reflections on the importance of how, and to what, we pay attention in our minds and actions. Weaving intellectual and social biography with the accidents of her particular career path focused on water, ecologies, and theological imaginations, Dr. Zenner invites community members to consider how fresh waters flow in their lives. She also considers how, in this time of bombardment, the flow of a college semester and the practice of classroom companionship can remind us all about ethical, collective, and kind discernment.
Community lunch follows, free for first-time guests!

About Sunday Platform
Sunday Platform is our most important and long-standing community event. These gatherings educate, stimulate personal growth, inspire reflection and action, and strengthen our community. Sunday meetings begin with music, followed by greetings and a talk given by a Society Leader, member, or guest. Platforms cover a variety of topics that reflect current events, pressing social issues, and Humanist philosophy. Each Sunday meeting is followed by a luncheon and social hour.
