December with Young Ethical Explorers

By November 28, 2021No Comments

All families are invited to December’s special programming, as we enter and treasure the darkest season of the year by lighting it up with our hearts.  If you are new to Ethical, come on over now to meet us, so you can dive in fully for the new year ahead! If you are not new, SHARE the gift of ETHICAL NYC with others you love by inviting them to come too!

Attendance is free of cost, with RSVP to YoungEthicalExplorers@gmail.com. We meet on Sundays at 11am on the 5th floor of Ethical NYC, 2 W. 64 Street.

Dec. 5th at 11am ~~ Freeze, Trees! YEE’re creating a Winter Fest Movie together to be shown on Dec. 19th. Full participation by all!

Then at 1pm ~~ Memorial for Beloved Ethical Member Susan Needles.

Dec. 12 at 11am ~~ Social Justice Deed:  “Write For Rights.”  Deepali Srivastava of Writefully Ours will lead this awareness building deed, involving children in Amnesty International’s call to action.

Dec. 19th at 11am ~~Winter Festival Gathering welcomes ALL AGES OF HUMANS to celebrate the darkest season with the light of our hearts brightened by one another as well as art, song, poetry and dance… exploring the gifts of darkness and of light…

…including special performance by Choreographer Jody Sperling of TimeLapse Dance (with costume painted by textile Artist Gina Nagy Burns and constructed by Mary Jo Mecca)… AND poem/song “My roots grow down” created specifically for this community by Annie Lanzillotto, with enhanced verses by YEE.

Friends and family are all welcome.  Any children who are not yet vaccinated will remain in the balcony… or on zoom, and all will mask, for the safety of the community.  See you there!
