Bernice Goes on a Bike Trip!

By July 5, 2022July 10th, 2022No Comments

The families of the Young Ethical Explorers are such adventurers.  The summer brings news of all sorts of journeys our families are taking to visit loved ones far and farther.  Florida, Ohio, Shanghai, India…. Feel free to share your stories and adventures through YoungEthicalExplorers@gmail.com.

Here is one inspiring family story to start the sharing and inspire all!

Meet Bernice!  Bernice is the mascot for an amazing journey!

It’s the biggest journey that two young bicyclists have ever taken…

two of our Young Ethical Explorers!

Luckily our young ones are led by their very experienced father, Gunther!  They have followed a bike path from Washington DC to Pittsburg, camping along the way.  Later this summer… they plan to return by following this path back home!  These are the ROAM-schoolers, learning ON THE GO!

This journey is over 300 miles, dear friends! In case you are so inspired, here is a guide of a sort: https://www.troddentwins.com/washington-dc/zfdxxvvqqrvlqrd5t773wqqiop0xoa

For a pigeon like Bernice, this is big journey! BRAVE BERNICE!

Bernice is a creation of artist Tina Pina Trachtenburg which our bicycling family found in Union Square.
