In recent years there has been much talk about reparations for African Americans. For those whose ancestors were enslaved or victims of red-lining in post-WWII America, there is no doubt that those long ago abuses were major causes of current inequalities. How can we “fix” this? What has already been done? Should it be the responsibility of the state or federal government?
