Upper West Side Action Group/SwingLeft: ‘Election Protection’ of Susan Lerner of Common Cause
Upper West Side Action Group’s May meeting will focus on Election Protection with guest speaker, Susan Lerner, NY Director Common Cause. She will talk about the challenges we face in the midterms as well as how we will be meeting these challenges. And, you will have the opportunity to learn about how you can play a role by volunteering for various roles with Common Cause’s Election Protection project. As always, there will be time to socialize and snack on light refreshments. There is a $5 donation to cover expenses including room rental.
Join me to learn about building grassroots power for all the fights to come. Together, we can defeat the anti-democratic movement within the Republican party, dismantle the GOP’s advantage in key swing states, and maintain and expand Democratic power at the federal level.
