Sunday 12/13: “Seal Song” at Ethics and the Theater

By December 7, 2020December 13th, 2020No Comments

Join us for our monthly staged reading and discussion, now online! This month’s play is Jennifer Fell Hayes’ Seal Song:

Nora, grieving the recent death of her mother, lives alone by the sea. She becomes captivated by a seal after seeing one up close while swimming. When Alan, a handyman, comes to work on her home, a friendship develops. Hayes’ lyrical dialogue is both delightfully funny and touching.

Following the play reading, Betsy Ungar will lead an audience discussion of the ethical issues of the play.
