Teens in Deed Begins September 14

ETHICAL NYC welcomes TEENS (and TWEENS) IN DEED ~ scroll down for fall 2023 events and join in when you can ~ Read it all, and plan since some opportunities listed have application deadlines.

So far, we have taken A field trip to the United Nations for International Peace Day YOUTH PRESENTATIONS and

WE have marched for Climate Awareness ~ “to grow a climate of ETHICS! in  The March To End Fossil Fuels.

 

 

UPCOMING:

Sept. 30:  TREEage offers Bootcamp for Climate Organizing! Our workshops from movement leaders, panels from elected officials, and trainings from experienced organizers will equip you with the skills you need to become a more effective climate activist! You’ll learn about what’s next for New York’s climate movement, get trained to be a leader in your school and community and level up your outreach and advocacy skills.   Join us on Saturday, September 30!

Are you interested in participating in conversations that emphasize multiple perspectives on key civic issues of our time with experts and civic-minded teens from across the city and country?

Do you want to analyze and grapple with issues like:    structural racism,   criminal justice system,  free speech vs. hate speech, refugees, free and fair elections…

If so, apply for the Next Generation Civic Fellowship! Join  a peer cohort committed to creating inclusive solutions to the thorny challenges of our time. Civic Fellows will meet for a full day in-person Civic Orientation on Sun, Oct 1 from 10AM-4PM.
