YEE Eco-Writing Workshop Takes Root. Newcomers Welcome!

By January 28, 2022January 30th, 2022No Comments

Our Young Ethical Explorers eagerly tackled their latest project — a series of writing workshops focused on the environment, led by Deepali Srivastava of Writefully Ours. Deepali is an editor, writer, writing consultant, and award-winning journalist. With her guidance, our young ethicists will dabble in five genres: comic books, short stories, poems, news articles, and speeches, every third Sunday through June.

As one point of inspiration, YEE Director Audrey Kindred quotes Kenya’s Nobel prize-winning social, political, and environmental activist, Wangari Maathai,“We are called to assist the Earth to heal her wounds and in the process, heal our own — indeed to embrace the whole of creation in all its diversity, beauty and wonder.”

Newcomers are always welcome! For questions or to RSVP, please contact Youth Programs Director Audrey Kindred at youngethicalexplorers@gmail.com.
