Our Ethical Coming of Age Cohort for 2025 is forming now, and sessions launch on Sunday, February 23!
Our guiding principle is to provide a safe and creative environment, and ethical grounding, to empower every young adult to blossom in community. Led by Ethical Culture Leader Christian Hayden and Youth and Families Program Coordinator Audrey Kindred, Coming of Age sessions focus on self-inquiry, awareness of the world around us, personal and social responsibility, and community service.
Interested youth in grades 7-9 are invited to join this year-long series of sessions, held approximately every three weeks on Sunday mornings, 9:30am-12:30pm (followed by our community lunch!). 10 scholarship-supported spots are available!
The program asks for a committed effort from each participant to show up for all sessions. It asks for the committed support of a participant’s family as well, by inviting families to join the Society’s free Ethical Family Membership (this does not compete with other affiliations and does not require a financial commitment). The New York Society for Ethical Culture is committed to supporting the thriving of ethical youth through this process.
