Join Society Leaders Nori Rost and Jé Hooper for this introduction to our new series, Ethics Unplugged, an exciting re-imaging of Ethical Culture. This experimental, alternative Platform gathering will be held every Wednesday at 7 PM in Adler Hall. All are invited!
With Ethics Unplugged, our goal is to use art, music, uniquely focused events, and deeper discussions to re-imagine our Humanist congregational experience for a younger and more diverse audience, while broadening and re-invigorating the Ethical Culture experience for our long-time members and friends in New York City and beyond.
Ethics Unplugged gatherings will be focused on interconnection and interpersonal development, building relationship and community that affirms the worth and dignity of all people, including those who have been traditionally underserved: people of color, LGBTQ people, persons with disabilities, and those who have difficult family dynamics and are seeking to celebrate and courageously connect with others.
Why the name Ethics Unplugged?
Because in these gatherings we will unplug from what Ethical Culture has traditionally looked and sounded like, something we believe is urgently needed to make our movement and Society relevant to the next generation, and to all of New York City.
