At Home with the League of Women Voters: “Abortion Access: The Crisis of Reproductive Rights in Texas” (Online)
November 16, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
The League of Women Voters of the City of NY presents At Home With The League on Texas’s new abortion restrictions.
As of September 1, 2021, Texas’ governor Greg Abbot signed into law the strictest abortion law (SB 8) in the country, banning procedures as early as six weeks into pregnancy. Advocacy organizations across the country are challenging these new regulations and are committed to protecting the rights of women to make these choices. Join the LWVNYC for a conversation with experts about the potential impact of these events.
