The “Gandhi-King Season For Nonviolence” is an International Intergenerational Annual Celebration of the nonviolence philosophies of historical figures like Mahatma Mohandas Gandhi and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Designed to honor their vision for an empowered, nonviolent world. It is an annual 64-day period spanning from January 30th (the day Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated in 1948) through April 4th (the day Dr. King was assassinated in 1968). Observance events globally can and do occur at any time between January 30th and April 4th.

Since its establishment the dynamic Culminating Educational Observance Event in NYC has often had many prominent historical guests, along with community leaders, educators, and powerful, wonderful youth presentations and performances.
