Leader’s Roundtable: It’s the Economy, Silly (Hybrid)
February 3, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Bring your lunch and join Leader Dr. Nori Rost and members for an engaging round-table discussion on the issues of the day and recommended readings.
Okay, the original word was a little stronger during the Bill Clinton presidential campaign, but it’s always about the economy! These two articles give insight into how our economy has been affected during the COVID-19 siege, as well as how inflation (shocking, not shocking) can disproportionately impact those with the least resources.
This week’s readings:
What We Learned About the Economy in 2021 – The New York Times (nytimes.com)
Opinion | The Missing Data in the Inflation Debate – The New York Times (nytimes.com)
