Join the League of Women Voters of the City of New York for a conversation with District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who will discuss his vision for safety and justice in Manhattan and share steps that his office has taken to fulfill that vision.

Speaker Bio:
Alvin Bragg is the 37th District Attorney elected in Manhattan. Alvin is a lifelong Manhattanite who has served as a state and federal prosecutor.
He spent more than two decades fighting to make NYC communities safer and our criminal justice system fairer. As Manhattan DA, Alvin is committed to reducing gun violence, creating a sex crime unit, and reversing wrongful convictions.
Bragg earned his A.B. from Harvard University, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, clerked for Hon. Robert P. Patterson, Jr. in the Southern District of New York, and was a Visiting Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Racial Justice Project at New York Law School.
