Lunch with the League of Women Voters NYC: What to Know About NYC’s New Congestion Pricing Law
January 16 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
New York will become the first city in the nation to implement congestion pricing. Under the new law, cars, buses, motorcycles and trucks traveling below 60th Street will be charged a fee. The fee will depend on the size and purpose of the vehicle.
How much will it cost? Are there any exceptions? How much does the MTA expect to make from this legislation? Stephen Nessen, transportation reporter for WNYC and WNPR will discuss the rules and expectations of this new law.
