Speaking of Science: “Updates In Alzheimer’s Disease Research” (Online)

Speaking of Science returns on Zoom with two lectures exploring our current understanding of Alzheimer’s Disease. The program will feature two 20-minute talks followed by a Q&A. Society member Carol Portlock moderates.

Our speakers:

Patricia Rockwell, Ph.D. – Patricia is Professor of Biology at CUNY Hunter. She is the recent author of Current Status of Treating Alzheimer’s Disease.

Emily Birnbaum – Emily is a Neuroscience Ph.D. candidate at the CUNY Graduate Center working on drug discovery for Alzheimer’s Disease. She is the recent author of Drug Repurposing to Identify New Therapies for Alzheimer’s Disease.
