Dr. Brandon Imber joined us for Speaking of Science, our monthly series exploring current discoveries and debates in science.
Dr. Brandon Imber, radiation oncology faculty member at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where he specializes in treating patients with blood cancers like lymphoma and leukemia as well as brain cancers. He completed his residency at MSKCC and did a year of fellowship training in blood cancer radiation oncology. He is now the director of Hematologic radiation oncology research and splits his time between clinical care, lymphoma research and teaching residents and fellows. He is specifically interested in studying ways to use very low doses of radiation to improve outcomes with next generation treatments such as engineered cellular therapies.
