Leader’s Lunchtime Roundtable: Homeless Bill of Rights (Hybrid)

June 15, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Bring your lunch and join Leader Dr. Nori Rost and members for an engaging round-table discussion on the issues of the day and recommended readings.

There is a bill on Eric Adams desk that affirms, among other things, that people experiencing homelessness can sleep outside. What rights do the unhoused have? Whose responsibility is it to ensure there are enough safe, clean shelter beds available? How can we uphold the inherent worth and dignity of every person?
