Concert March 18: Celebrating the Works of BIPOC Composers

Join us for a special concert celebrating the works of composers who are Black, Indigenous, and persons of color! Selections include music by William Grant StillAdolphus HailstorkTania LeónValerie Coleman, and Jerod Impichchaachaaha’ Tate.

Flutist, Yamaha Performing Artist, and Fulbright Scholar Dr. Patricia Surman and pianist Nelson Ojeda Valdés will be performing as part of Dr. Surman’s sabbatical project from Metropolitan University of Denver, where she serves as Associate Professor of Flute and Director of Woodwind Studies.
