Our long-running staged reading and discussion series returns in-person with The Price by Arthur Miller:
In the attic of a once-fashionable Manhattan townhouse crammed with once-fashionable furniture, two long-estranged brothers face each other. They have come together to decide how and for how much to sell the furniture, which belonged to their deceased father. But before they can settle on a price for these items, they must come to terms with the price each has paid for the choices and compromises he has made. Directed by Suzanna Frazer.
After the play, member Betsy Ungar will moderate an open discussion about the ethical issues raised and explored in the work. Produced by Patricia Bruder Debrovner.
Matinee encore on Sunday, May 15, 1:30-3:00pm.
Members $5, Guests $10 (at door)
