This month, our own member and mathematician Bob Bumcrot guided us through an exploration of the ‘magic’ of math and statistics.
About Our Speaker
Bob Bumcrot is a mathematician (though not a statistician) who served as a professor at Ohio State, the University of Sussex, and Hofstra University, where he occasionally taught introductory statistics and from which he is now retired.
He has written several books, papers, and chapters, and was active in the Mathematical Association of America and the American Mathematical Society, where he was a reviewer for over fifty years.
